At Courtly Music Unlimited, we are passionate about music and passionate about the recorder. As two Juilliard-graduates, we, Richie and Elaine Henzler, have dedicated our lives to sharing the joy of music-making with others. We've been making music with people for over 40 years, and our mission is to help as many people as possible experience the joy of playing the recorder and making music with others.

Services

We offer a wide range of services to cater to the needs of recorder enthusiasts. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned musician, our experienced teachers are here to guide you every step of the way. We offer private lessons, online and in-person, for all ages and skill levels. Our lessons are tailored to your individual needs, covering everything from basic technique to advanced music theory.

We also offer group classes, both online and in-person, where you can learn and perform with others who share your passion for music. Our group classes cover a wide range of musical styles, from classical to folk to pop. Join us for a workshop or regular classes and experience the joy of making music with others.

At Courtly Music Unlimited, we believe that every musician deserves a well-tuned and well-made instrument. That's why we offer a selection of high-quality, handcrafted recorders from renowned manufacturers. Whether you're looking for a soprano or alto recorder, we've got you covered. And if we don't have what you're looking for, we'll order it directly from the manufacturer for you.

Workshops and Events

We're proud to offer a variety of workshops and events throughout the year. From our popular summer solstice celebration to our annual Bach festival, we provide a platform for musicians to come together and share their love of music.
