Our Story

New York Guitar Teachers was established in 2011 with the goal of providing high-quality guitar lessons to students in New York City and beyond. We believe that everyone can - and was meant to - make music, and we're dedicated to helping our students achieve their goals and find joy in playing the guitar. Our staff of world-class guitar instructors are committed to providing individualized lesson plans that are tailored to each student's needs, goals, and skill level.

Our Services

We offer a range of services to help our students achieve their musical goals. From individual instruction to organized group lessons, we provide a welcoming environment where students can learn to play the guitar, ukulele, mandolin, or banjo. Our lessons are designed to be fun and engaging, with a focus on helping students develop their skills and increase their appreciation for music. We also offer virtual lessons for students who can't make it to our Midtown studio, as well as organized group lessons for those who want to learn with others.

With their extensive knowledge and diversity of experience, our staff is able to create individualized lesson plans that are tailored to each student's needs and goals.
