For over 30 years, Liz Elliot has been teaching strings and piano to students of all ages and skill levels. With degrees from Augsburg College, Liz has had the privilege of sharing her passion for music with students in both Los Angeles and Minneapolis. Her teaching philosophy is simple: to make learning music a rewarding and enjoyable experience for her students.
Our Services
At Liz Elliot Music, we offer private in-home music lessons for bowed string instruments (violin, viola, cello, bass) and beginning-intermediate piano. We understand that each student is unique, with their own interests and goals. That's why we offer flexible lesson times, catered to your schedule and needs.

With years of experience teaching students of all ages and skill levels, Liz has developed a teaching style that is tailored to each student's unique needs.
Our Facilities
We offer in-home lessons in Pasadena, Altadena, South Pasadena, and La Canada, California. We also offer virtual lessons for students who are remotely located (more than 10 miles away) or for adults who prefer online lessons.
Our Ensembles
In addition to private lessons, Liz also offers small ensemble and chamber music opportunities for young musicians. These ensembles provide a unique experience for students to work together, learn to follow direction, and develop teamwork and communication skills.
Our Recitals
We hold two annual recitals, one in the autumn and one in the spring. These recitals give our students the opportunity to showcase their hard work and progress.
Admissions
Admissions to our programs are based on a student's age, skill level, and musical interests. We welcome students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced musicians.
