Our Music Lessons

Carol Smith has been teaching private and group piano lessons to students of all ages for over two decades. She currently serves as the Music Instructor at the University of Denver's Ricks Center for Gifted Children, where she teaches students from preschool through 8th grade. With a degree in Piano Performance and graduate-level studies with esteemed pianists such as Leonard Mastrogiacomo and Alice Rybak, Ms. Smith is well-equipped to provide lessons that cater to each student's unique learning style and musical interests.

Our lessons include a comprehensive curriculum that covers technique, music theory, ear training, and performance opportunities. We believe that music should be a joyful experience, so we adapt our curriculum to fit each student's learning style and musical interest. Our studio is equipped with an acoustic Yamaha Studio Upright, a Casio Privia Digital Piano, and a computer for additional enrichment activities such as composition, recording, and theory instruction.
