Falls River Music is a music school and store located in Raleigh, North Carolina, with a passion for music education and a commitment to providing a welcoming environment for students of all ages. With over 30 years of experience, our team has a deep understanding of the importance of music in our lives, and we strive to inspire, educate, and entertain our students through a variety of music lessons, camps, band rentals, and sales.

Music Lessons

At Falls River Music, we offer private music lessons for a wide range of instruments, including guitar, drums, piano, violin, viola, cello, trumpet, saxophone, clarinet, and more. Our experienced instructors are dedicated to helping students of all ages and skill levels develop their musical talents and achieve their goals. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced musician, we have a lesson plan tailored to your needs.

Music Camps

Our summer music camps are a unique and exciting way for kids (ages 4-6) to learn and have fun with music. Our camps are designed to be engaging, interactive, and comprehensive, with a focus on creating a supportive and encouraging environment for our young students. Each camp features a variety of music-related activities, including singing, dancing, and playing instruments, all while developing important music fundamentals like rhythm, melody, and harmony.

Band Rentals

For schools and individuals alike, we offer a wide range of band instruments for rent, including brass, woodwind, percussion, and stringed instruments. Our rental program is designed to provide quality instruments at an affordable price, with exceptional customer service and flexible rental terms.

Repairs and Sales

At Falls River Music, we're committed to helping our students and customers get the most out of their instruments. Our repair shop offers expert services for acoustic and electric guitars, as well as violin, viola, and cello repairs. We also carry a wide selection of music gear, accessories, and instructional books, making us your one-stop-shop for all your musical needs.

Art Classes

For our younger students, we offer art classes designed to inspire creativity and imagination. Our certified instructor guides students through a variety of artistic mediums and techniques, providing a fun and supportive environment for kids to express themselves.

Rock Band Program

In addition to our private lessons and group classes, we also offer a Rock Band program for intermediate and advanced students. This program provides a unique opportunity for students to develop their musical skills, learn to play together, and perform in front of an audience. We provide the music, instruments, and equipment needed to make the program a success.

Lounge and Free WiFi

At Falls River Music, we believe that music education is just as important as relaxation and socialization. That's why we've created a cozy lounge area with free WiFi, where students and parents can relax, grab a snack or drink, and enjoy some quality time together.

Monthly Open Mic Nights

We invite musicians of all levels to join us at our monthly Open Mic Night, held on the third Wednesday of every month. Come share your talents, learn from others, and enjoy an evening of music and camaraderie.

Customer Service

At Falls River Music, we're committed to providing exceptional customer service. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff are always available to answer questions, provide assistance, or simply chat about music. We're open Monday through Thursday from 3 pm to 7 pm, Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm, and closed on Sundays. We look forward to serving you!
