Welcome to the Northwest Choirs, home to the Northwest Boychoir and Vocalpoint! Seattle. For over four decades, our organization has been dedicated to providing exceptional music education and vocal performance opportunities to boys and young women from the Seattle region.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide the highest level of music education and vocal performance opportunity to the boys, and young men and women of the Seattle region, and to provide the local community with a unique choral resource. We achieve this by recruiting and training talented young singers in the mastery of vocal performance with an emphasis on musicianship, self-discipline, teamwork, commitment, and personal excellence.

Our History

The Northwest Boychoir was founded in 1974 as a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization. Since its inception, the organization has been committed to making its programs accessible to young people from all walks of life, regardless of religion, social background, or financial situation. Our dedication to educational excellence and artistic performance has allowed us to become one of the premier children's choirs in the nation.

Our Programs

Our program is designed to foster a passion for music and performance in our young singers. We offer a range of programs, including:

• Twice-weekly rehearsals: Regular rehearsals that focus on musicality, technique, and performance skills.
• Summer Music Camp: A week-long summer camp that provides an immersive music-making experience.
• Full concert schedule: Regular performances throughout the year, featuring a diverse range of choral repertoire.
• Biannual tours: Exciting travel opportunities that allow our singers to share their talents with audiences around the world.

Our Staff

Our experienced staff are dedicated to guiding and nurturing the talents of our young singers. Our music director, Joseph Crnko, has been at the helm of the Northwest Boychoir for over three decades and has earned widespread recognition for his visionary leadership.
