Our teachers are highly qualified and dedicated professionals who have undergone rigorous training in their respective fields. From classical and contemporary training to music composition and performance, our faculty brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to every lesson.
Meet Our Teachers
Michelle Schnider, our owner and lead teacher, is a Los Angeles native who began playing the piano at the age of 7. She has a Bachelor's Degree from California State University, Northridge, and a Master's Degree in Music Education from California State University, Los Angeles. Michelle's teaching philosophy emphasizes the importance of motivating students to develop a love for music.
Lindsay McDonald, a versatile teacher, has a B.F.A. from Penn State University and classical and contemporary training from Carnegie Mellon University. She has a strong background in vocal performances and has toured with musicals.
Marianthe Bezzerides holds a B.A. in Music from Loyola Marymount University and is finishing her Master's degree in Composition at California State University Long Beach. She has taught piano to students of many ages and is excited to integrate composition into her lessons.
Christy Carew Marshall is a composer, pianist, and music teacher with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and Music Business from Loyola University New Orleans and a Master of Arts in Film Scoring and Composition from New York University. She is passionate about teaching and bringing her love for music to a new generation.
Jenni Alpert, our guitar teacher, is a professional performing and recording artist from Los Angeles. She holds a B.F.A. from UCLA's Ethnomusicology department and has been teaching private guitar lessons for over 8 years.
