Our Craftsmanship

Scott Shu-Kun Cao is a renowned master violin maker, known for his exceptional skills in creating instruments that surpass the highest standards of sound quality and aesthetic appeal. Born in Guangzhou, China in 1956, Cao began his journey in violin making at a young age, studying under the guidance of esteemed masters such as Xu Fu and Liang Guo Hui. After relocating to the United States in 1985, Cao honed his craft by working with acclaimed makers like Roland Feller, Hans Weisshaar, and Luiz Bellini.
