Cumberland Valley School

At the Cumberland Valley School of Music, we believe that music has the power to transform lives and bring communities together. That's why we're dedicated to providing high-quality, diverse musical instruction and related artistic experiences to our community.

Founded in 1990, CVSM is a non-profit organization and a full member of the National Guild for Community Arts Education. Our offices and primary studios are located in Thomson Hall at Wilson College, where we offer a wide range of lessons, classes, workshops, and summer camps. We also present recitals and concerts in the beautiful Thomson Alumnae Chapel, which houses two Steinway Concert Grand pianos and a recently renovated Moller Organ.

In addition to our Wilson College location, we offer instruction at CVSM Studio at 32 W. Main St. and Music Makers, Waynesboro, PA; Growing with Music at 42 Center Square, Greencastle, PA; Mercersburg Academy, Mercersburg, PA; and John Wesley UMC, Hagerstown.
