Our Team Located in Coastal Grand Mall, Andy Owings Music Center is a true family affair. Owner Andy Owings Sr. and his son, Andy Jr., own and operate the store. Andy Owings Born in Greenwood, South Carolina, Andy Sr. has been in the music business since 1960. He worked for Johnson Piano & Organ Co. while working as a musician and church organist. Andy moved to Myrtle Beach in 1975 and opened a music store in the old Myrtle Square Mall. After that mall closed, he moved to Coastal Grand Mall, where he is today. The school moved next door to the store in 2016. That has really enhanced the business for both sides. Come to the store or music school by Belk's in Coastal Grand Mall.
