Jonathan Fletcher Music has been a staple in the Smyrna, TN community for over two decades. Established in 1999, our music store has grown from a small shop on Nissan Blvd to its current location at 144 N Lowry St in Smyrna, TN. Our mission is to provide the highest quality music lessons, instruments, and services to the people of Smyrna, Rutherford County, and surrounding areas.

Our Story

Our journey began with our founder, Jonathan Fletcher, who opened his first shop on Nissan Blvd in Smyrna, TN. As the business grew, we relocated to Lowry Street in Smyrna, TN, where we expanded our offerings to include drums, keyboards, digital pianos, recording equipment, sound systems, and band & orchestra instruments. We also added repair and rental services at this location.

Our Services

We offer private music lessons for a wide range of instruments, including guitar, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, drums, bass, piano, banjo, voice, violin, flute, viola, saxophone, and many more. Our experienced instructors customize each student's lesson plan to ensure a positive and encouraging learning environment. We offer lessons for every age, skill level, and musical interest.

Retail Services

We have a complete selection of new and used instruments and accessories. Financing and lay-away options are available. We also rent school band and orchestra instruments and sound systems. Our repair services cater to all musical instruments and electronic equipment.

Our Instructors

Our instructors are highly qualified and experienced professionals in their respective fields. Jonathan Fletcher, our founder, is a graduate of the Guitar Institute of Technology and has over 30 years of professional experience. John Shade, another one of our instructors, has attended the Navy School of Music and has performed with the Navy Band. He has also studied composition and arranging at the Grove School of Music in Los Angeles, CA.

We offer convenient lesson times from Monday to Thursday, 10:00 am to 8:30 pm, and Friday to Saturday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

We are conveniently located in the heart of Smyrna, TN, near La Vergne, Murfreesboro, Antioch, and other surrounding areas. We are easily accessible from Nashville, Nolensville, and Mount Juliet.
