- *Trade-Back Policy*: Our buy-back policy allows you to trade-back your instrument toward the purchase of another instrument at 100% of the purchase price. For instruments with greater damage, a deduction for repair and devaluation is applied.
- *Rentals*: Our comprehensive rental program ensures that every aspiring musician has access to a high-quality instrument. Our convenient and affordable rental services cater to students and professionals alike, with flexible short-term or long-term options. Our well-maintained inventory is suitable for all levels.

Meet the Team
Robert Cauer, the founder of Robert Cauer Violins, is a skilled cellist and accomplished violin maker. He studied at the prestigious Mittenwald School of Violin Making in Bavaria and later became an apprentice to Simone F. Sacconi at the renowned workshop of Rembert A. Wurlitzer. With over 40 years of experience, Robert Cauer has gained widespread recognition as a provider of fine instruments, repair, and restoration.
Herod Williams, the Head of Robert Cauer's Atelier, is a professional violin maker and assistant to Robert Cauer. He has been working with Robert Cauer Violins since 1988.
Todd Weisenberger, a professional violin restoration expert, has been working with Robert Cauer Violins since 1986.
Jay Song, another professional violin and bow restoration specialist, has been working with Robert Cauer Violins since 1986.
Jonathan Rubin, a professional violinist and violin teacher, provides sales and customer services since 2003.
Lupe Hernandez, our Office Manager, has been working with Robert Cauer Violins since 2006.
Samantha Dickman, a skilled violin restorer, is responsible for violin restoration.
Visiting Our Shop
Rentals require a 30-45 minute transaction time, and an appointment is necessary for rental. Our rental application requirements include a minimum 90-day rental period, two Visa or MasterCards, and a reference (a teacher or a customer of ours). If no reference is available, several months rental in advance is required.
