Piano Klass Kidz

At Cadek Conservatory of Music, we are passionate about providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for students to grow as musicians. Our Piano Klass Kidz program is designed for beginning students aged 6-8, and is specifically tailored to meet the unique needs and abilities of this age group. Through our 45-minute weekly sessions, our expert instructors guide students in the development of musicality, note reading, and technique.

Piano Klass Kidz Program

Our Piano Klass Kidz program is a two-year journey that provides a solid foundation in music education. By the end of the program, students will have developed a strong understanding of music theory, notation, and performance skills. Each semester, our instructors cover various topics, including technique, theory, repertoire, and ensemble work. To celebrate their progress, students participate in regular recitals, where they can showcase their skills to family and friends.

Instructor - Janet Sump

Our instructor, Janet Sump, is an Adjunct Faculty Member with the UTC Cadek Department of Music and the Cadek Conservatory of Music. With over 15 years of teaching experience, Janet holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a Master of Music Degree from Converse College. Her extensive educational background and teaching expertise ensure that our students receive the highest quality instruction and guidance.
