Empowering Personal Growth through Music Education

Since 1990, K&S Conservatory of Music has been dedicated to providing a unique and supportive environment for students of all ages to learn and grow through music. Our mission is to be strong music activists in our community, fostering an encouraging environment where our students thrive.

Our Story

Established in 1990 by Sue Krebsbach, K&S Conservatory of Music has a rich history of providing music lessons to the community. Over the years, we have grown from a small studio in St. Paul Park, Minnesota to our current location in Woodbury, Minnesota. In 2014, three teachers at K&S Conservatory collaborated to purchase Carol Sailer's shares to start a new chapter in the history of this esteemed business. Sadly, in 2016, Carol Carlson unexpectedly passed away. In June, the estate of Carol Carlson sold its shares to Sue Ruby. In December of 2019, Mitch Grussing started purchasing some of Sue Krebsbach's shares and officially joined the director team. The ownership of K&S Conservatory of Music continues under the direction of Sue Krebsbach, Sarah Mensen, and Sue Ruby and Mitch Grussing.

Our Faculty

Our skilled teachers hold advanced degrees in music from esteemed institutions in the United States and Europe. They are active members of music organizations like the Minnesota Music Teachers Association, Minnesota Education Association, and American Federation of Musicians, performing locally and internationally.
