Our team of experienced instructors and passionate music lovers are dedicated to providing students with a comprehensive musical education that goes beyond the notes on a sheet.

Our Background

Putnam Music Center was founded with the vision of creating a space where students can build a solid foundation in music while having fun. Our team comprises passionate instructors who are dedicated to guiding students on their artistic journey. Whether you're a seasoned musician or just starting out, we have the resources and expertise to help you reach your musical goals.

Our Team

At Putnam Music Center, we take pride in our team of dedicated instructors who are passionate about music education. Our team includes Elizabeth Tedesco, a classically trained violinist and certified Kindermusik teacher with over 22 years of teaching experience. She is joined by a talented group of instructors who specialize in various instruments and programs.

Our team also includes Diane Goldstein, who teaches flute and piano; Robin Jackson, who teaches piano; Mike Seminara, who teaches guitar and ukulele; Pete Hopkinson, who teaches guitar; Bill O'Shea, who teaches guitar; Anthony Gach, who teaches trumpet and guitar; Janet Morrison, who teaches strings; and Kinga Wiktor, who teaches art classes.

Lessons Available

We offer lessons in a variety of instruments, including guitar, piano, drums, bass, vocals, violin, viola, cello, bass, flute, ukulele, and trumpet. Our lesson program is designed to provide students of all ages with a high-quality musical education. Our instructors have many years of experience in music, both performing and teaching, and are well-versed in many styles.

Programs and Services

In addition to private and group lessons, we also offer a range of programs and services designed to meet the needs of our students. These include instrument rentals and sales, sheet music and accessories, and instrument repairs. We are also pleased to introduce our new Art Program, featuring classes from Fine Arts Studio.

Half Notes Group Classes

We are excited to offer Half Notes Group Classes featuring Kindermusik. These classes are designed for children aged 18 months to 3 years old and our Preschool Program for ages 3 to 5 years old. In every Half Notes Kindermusik group class, your child is welcomed into a playful and nurturing environment where they will sing, move, play instruments, and hear stories - all while developing social skills, problem-solving skills, pre-math skills, and a foundation for reading.
