Our Instructors

Our instructors are passionate and experienced musicians who are dedicated to sharing their love of music with others. Curtis Kamiya, our founder and lead instructor, is a professional musician with over twenty years of experience. He has studied classical guitar and has performed with various ensembles and bands. Annie Kamiya, our business partner and co-owner, is a talented vocalist and musician who has performed with several groups and has a degree in Theatre Arts.

Our Band, Mango Season

In addition to our private music instruction, Curtis Kamiya Music is also the home of Mango Season, a band that focuses on making sophisticated music with a deep groove and a whisper of Hawaiian influence. Our band has released several albums and has performed at various venues around the world.
