At Music Works Northwest, our mission is to change lives through accessible music education and experiences. As a non-profit community music school, we are dedicated to providing music lessons, classes, music therapy, and other programs to students of all ages and skill levels. With a faculty of professional musicians and a commitment to the community, we strive to make music education accessible to everyone.

Programs

Our programs are designed to inspire and empower students to explore their passion for music. We offer private lessons, group classes, ensembles, and music therapy sessions for students of all ages and skill levels. Our programs include:

  • Private lessons: We offer 30, 45, and 60-minute lessons on 21 different instruments and voice, taught by experienced and professional faculty members.
  • Classes and ensembles: We offer classes and ensembles for students of all ages and skill levels, from beginner to advanced.
  • Music therapy: Our music therapy program provides therapeutic music lessons and adapted music lessons for students with special needs.
  • Summer and winter camps: We offer summer and winter camps for students to learn new instruments, explore music genres, and make new friends.

Music Lessons

We offer private lessons for students of all ages on a variety of instruments and voice. Our faculty members are experienced musicians who perform with top ensembles and hold graduate degrees from prestigious music institutions. We offer lessons in:

  • Flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, saxophone, French horn, trumpet, trombone, tuba, violin, viola, cello, guitar, ukulele, bass, and drums.

Registration

We offer two convenient ways to schedule your lessons: academic year and short term. Academic year registrations are available until March 1st, and short term lessons are available year-round. For the academic year, students pay a monthly tuition, which secures their lesson day and time for the entire year. Short term lessons cost $53.50 for a 30-minute lesson.
