Our History

Spruce Tree Music was founded in 1980 by Wil Bremer, who still leads our team today. With over four decades of experience, we have established ourselves as a trusted and respected name in the industry. Our story began in Akron, Ohio, where Wil first opened his instrument shop in 1973. We relocated to Bloomington, Indiana, and eventually settled in our current location on East Johnson Street in Madison, Wisconsin, where we have been proudly serving the community for over 35 years.
